Awakening the Watchmen: A Call to Night & Day Intercession
At Divine Encounters, we believe prayer is not confined to moments—it’s a continual posture. Through the Prayer Watches, we align ourselves with God’s timing and His movements throughout the day and night.
Each watch carries a spiritual significance and opens a divine window for intercession, warfare, intimacy, healing, and thanksgiving. Here’s how we stand on the wall in every season:
📍 3:00 AM – Early Morning Watch
Divine Encounters & Breakthrough Prayers: Heaven often speaks in this hour—dreams, visions, angelic visitations, and prophetic insight flow. A time for commanding the morning and declaring breakthroughs.
📍 6:00 AM – Morning Watch
Covering the Day & Seeking Direction: We present the day to the Lord, declaring His will over our steps, tasks, meetings, and plans. A time for fresh strength and divine strategies.
📍 9:00 AM – Mid-Morning Watch
Prayers for Wisdom, Provision & Protection: This is when we seek God's wisdom for decisions, ask for daily provision, and invoke divine protection over ourselves and our loved ones.
📍 12:00 PM – Midday Watch
Intercession & Thanksgiving: A sacred pause in the middle of the day to give thanks, pray for global revival, and realign with the Spirit’s direction for the rest of the day.
📍 3:00 PM – Late Afternoon Watch
Prayers for Families, Churches & Revival: We lift families, ministries, and the Body of Christ in prayer. This hour echoes the sacrifice of Jesus and calls for a fresh outpouring.
📍 6:00 PM – Evening Watch
Healing, Deliverance & Preparation for the Night: We pray for emotional, physical, and spiritual healing, and cover the night with peace and divine encounters.
📍 9:00 PM – Night Watch
Worship, Reflection & Deep Intimacy: As the world quiets, we tune our hearts to heaven. A time of worship, reflection, repentance, and drawing near to God’s heart in intimacy.
📍 12:00 AM – Midnight Watch
Spiritual Warfare & Deep Intercession: We enter the gates of the new day with boldness. This is a powerful time for breaking strongholds, dealing with demonic activity, and securing victory before the day begins.
Fasting
We fast every Thursday from 6am to 6pm. The prayer points will be shared on the day of the fast. During the fast, the meeting link is open at lunch hour (12pm-1pm) and when we break the fast (6pm).
